Getting visitors on your site.

For much of this information, I owe thanks to Promotion World
  1. Google gives many possible resources for driving traffic to your web site.
  2. Yahoo. How to add your site to Yahoo. Might get quicker results by calling Yahoo at (408) 731-3300, 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST.
  3. How to promote your site -- from Lycos.
  4. How to get your site rated by RSACI so that it can be picked up by search engines only selecting non-objectionable sites.
  5. How to use Meta Tags to attract visitors. For more information on Meta Tags, see Meta Tag Resources. Another site Meta Builders gives you a form to fill out to create your metatags.
  6. Getting your site listed on search engines: Webcrawler | Northern Lights | Yahoo | Google (Open Directory)
  7. WebMonkey shows how to help your site climb to popularity and how to find out information about where the climbers are coming from.
  8. See Spider Food for help in getting your site picked up by search engines.
  9. Self-Promotion.Com. A free service registering your site with several search engines at once. Welcomes a contribution if you are happy with results.
