Organizing your hard drive for your Web sites

  1. Have a separate folder on your hard drive just for your Web sites.
  2. Make subfolders within your Website folder for each of your Web sites.
  3. Within each web site folder, make an images folder.
  4. Include an index.html file in each web site folder.

The diagram below reflects this suggested above organization. The diagram provides for three web sites -- one for the Owls baseball team, the second for a scout troop, and the third for a church..
